I had to run a channel or raceway overhead to carry various computer cables. I cut a long notch out in 3/4 pvc so I could lay the wires in rather than trying to thread them through a closed conduit.So I needed hangers that the pipe could rest in, allowing the cables to be inserted or removed.These U shaped hangers turned out to be perfect. They are easily bendable and i shaped them as I needed.

These are great brackets. I actually used them to suspend a roller screen for my projector, and they've held up very well even with the frequent use from pulling down the screen. They're very easy to install, sturdy, and I'm happy with them.
