Overall functionally it works. So well that I scratched my head a few times wondering where it was getting the signal/alert from in a room where I know where everything thing is. That aside, in a hotel room it found the usual suspects phone, watch, laptop though it did go off as well on the thermostat (with no visible/found camera) so either it was bluetoothed to the HVAC unit or something. It's a bit overwhelming as others have stated, but watch a YT vid or two for the basics. It's several steps up from going around your darkened room with your phones camera/flashlight.

Some of this is a repeat from another hidden camera detector. So I can see why a motel room and maybe around your car you could find something bugging you. But like in my house there are so many things that went off that I would have to shut everything down, which would take hours just to find if there was anything I didn't know was in the building. Which would be a way of diagnosis if I had a bug in my house. Just sitting next to my computer, there were more than 30 things that set this detector off. What I am getting at is that it will take awhile to find a bug in your personal home. I didn't realize that there were so many signals in my house going off all around me. It does what it says about finding signals, magnetic fields, and even camera lenses. So don't think your going to turn it on and be bug free, unless you know nothing in your house is turned on. But in a motel room this would be great to have as you know there should be nothing else there to interfere with your life. This little detector does work as stated and seems to be pretty well built. Price wasn't going to kill you either. Who knows what you may find you didn't know was running around you at home. Moving on,most of what I said during a test of another hidden camera detector that I tested before that had that had GPS, RF, and magnetic detection also, still holds true. But this one is a little different as I watched some videos of this one, search K18 GPS signal detector. It has a adjustment that I understand from using Freon detectors, a way to adjust the meter for looking for small leaks of signals and found it works pretty much the same. This little unit does work and you could scan someones body and pick-up signals that would give people away, also cars, hotel rooms, B&Bs, offices maybe, restrooms, and any other private areas that electronic are not suppose to be there. But I still stand by doing your house if you have lots of electronics it would take hours to find a bug or a camera that is not yours. Not to say you couldn't but everything would have to be turned off as you find signals. The sensitivity adjustment is a good thing to adjust extremely low and search for the small leaks of signals. The company putting a sensitivity LED meter on the face will help as you use it more. I did enjoy using this one more as I can see it is the real thing. But I could talk all day and the videos will give you more meaning. I like it and hope that helps in using it. Watch the videos they will help you use it product better for sure.

This detector is packed with allot of features, you'll need to read the manual and familiarize yourself with all the functions that it provides. Theres allot of them and lots of settings to choose from and figure out what each beep and light bar is indicating. For never having to use one before its almost over whelming. So far i have not found a tracking device in all the random places i have checked. Which leads me to the conclusion that this device is working, and not that i'm using it wrong.

I have hesitated to review this, because when I try to use it, I don't actually know what I'm doing so I don't think I can properly evaluate it's effectiveness. The directions weren't plain to me (I'm not particularly techy). I guess I just thought the directions would tell me that if it did this or this, it would mean this or this, but it was not so simple. Anyway, I've gone around my house and it beeps here and there, especially if I'm on the telephone answering machine, and also random places - and I don't know what it means. It's kind of cool the way it beeps and lights up. I plan to give it to my son and I think he will understand it and know how to use it better. Sorry, I can't give a better review!

I have been trying out it a bunch and keep bumping into the fact that it keeps picking up random other electronic equipment. I keep getting false positives every time I try it. I deliberately set up a hidden camera and, due to all the false readings, I wouldn't have been able to find it if I didn't know where it was.

I've never used a device like this, but it does seem to work. After playing around with it, it seems to detect wireless signals. I tested it on my phone. When my phone isn't active, the detector doesn't do anything. When I start playing YT videos or browse the web on the phone, the detector starts making sounds. This shows me that this device is detecting signals leaving devices.

I tested this using my phone, garage door remote, the wifi routers and more, and it definitely does what it says it does. It also has a convenient viewfinder for easily finding cameras (works best at night).It's got quite the learning curve and the instructions are poorly written - I had to spend some time on youtube understanding everything about this thing.When you're learning to use this, unless you're deep in the wilderness, you will be bombarded with false positives - your phone, your router - anything with a radio on it. dialing in the sensitivity takes some skill and finesse but ultimately you can do it with some persistence.
