I usually take it out once we settle in Airbnb and scan the whole place, especially the bedroom and bathroom, just to feel a bit safer. It’s pretty small, and the mode can switch between a vibration or sound alert. It’s got the basic stuff I expect, there’s a little flashlight on top, and it also can shoot out this red light to help spot things, this works well at night. It’s small and easy to toss in my bag, and I’ve even taken it on flights. Sometimes the alerts go off randomly, and I’m not totally sure if it’s catching everything or just being overly sensitive. But for what it is, it gives me some peace of mind.

The size is perfect, it’s small enough to slip into a travel bag or even a jacket pocket, which is great because he doesn’t like carrying extra gadgets. The battery life seems to hold up well so far, which is helpful since he sometimes forgets to charge things.
