Very nice. Soft, supple leather. Exactly as I hoped and expected. I love it. The more the world goes plastic and synthetic, the more I fall in love with old school materials, like stone, tin, and glass, and especially natural materials, particularly those with grain, like wood and leather. I'm slowly switching as many things as possible to those made of or with natural and/or old school materials. I've replaced all my cheap plastic and ugly wire closet hangers with cedar. I've done away with ugly plastic rifle cases in favor of rifle cases made of leather and other animal hides (springbok antelope and cape buffalo). Instead of a modern synthetic gym bag, I bought a nice full grain leather gym bag. Etc. And now I've got a beautiful, rustic leather clutch bag that will last me, at 55, the rest of my life. Little by little, less plastic and more natural materials, less modern and more traditional materials. Purchased it for $35 along with the Hide & Drink rustic leather checkbook cover for $25. I originally purchased this clutch bag for a gift, with several other Hide & Drink pieces. Unfortunately, I am unable to gift it because it was scratched and the makers card was non-existent. In addition, it wasn't carefully wrapped like the other pieces were. I feel that this clutch was a return, although I don't want to make that accusation.

I bought this a few months ago when the price was resonable. I think i paid less than $40 for it. Hide and Drink has been my "go to" leather guy for my last six leather purchases and will continue to be. I use this bag for my Samsung 10" tablet. I works wonderful for it. The craftsmenship is superb. One reviewer stated that the closure doesnt keep the bag shut. this is true. I am just careful about which way I pick up the case and everything is good. Im glad I bought it when I did. I probably would have passed for the $75 price I saw when I wrote this review. THICK fine leather but thats about all there is to it......
