I have a sprayer tank that has a similar pump on top of it, it's the kind meant to go on your tractor so you can spray pest control or fertilizer... I don't need it for that anymore, but I wanted to use it for an aluminum anodizing set up so I could fill it with reverse osmosis water and use it to rinse the parts. Unfortunately the pump had sized up from sitting for many years and not being used. This pump looked a lot like the original so I thought I would give it a try. I was VERY happy that it fit my tank very well! I did have to switch out the base plate for the original one because while the two holes for the motor matched, the four holes to mount it to the tank didn't match, but it was easy enough to switch out. I was REALLY happy that the inlet lined up, because it was always a tight connection, and it was really convenient that I could just attach it and it fit right away. I have a 12V LiFePO4 battery to power the pump, and a trickle charger to keep it charged, and it is working GREAT!!The pump shut of, but then it turned on and off every few seconds... I discovered the hose was leaking where it connects to the nozzle and the hose clamp would not stay tight, so a new hose clamp there and the problem was solved! now when I spray, the pump comes on as needed, and when I stop, it stops pumping and just stays off. I do cut the power to the pump and relive the pressure when not in use. I figure there is no point in maintaining that pressure if I'm not out there to use it and maybe it will help it last longer. It also came with a strainer and some fittings, but I didn't use any of those. I don't need a strainer because I am using Reverse Osmosis water which doesn't even have dissolved salts in it.The pump does make a little noise, but it's not that bad, it's about the same as the old pump. This one does have an adjustable pressure switch, but I did not feel the need to adjust it, I am getting a nice powerful spray from my nozzle, and I am happy with the way they set it.Overall this is a great pump! It has been very reliable. The whole tank and this pump are all in a shed so it won't be out in the weather, so I think it should last a really long time. I'm very happy to have my sprayer tank working again and that this pump fit and functions the way I was hoping it would.

The water pump in my RV was getting weak and extra noisy so I replaced it before waiting for it to fail. This was easy to install with existing wiring and pipes. It works like the original, automatically shutting of and turning on as pressure builds and releases in the system. It definitely seems stronger, not running as often or as long as the older pump

If replacing your rv water pump, there’s a good chance you have a shurflo water pump. I thought I needed this but was able to replace the diaphragm in my shurflo and so I didn’t need this. However, I reviewed the specs on my old shurflo and I can of like this one for two reasons. The shut off psi is 45, where my shurflo is 55 psi. Not a huge deal but I have a fifth wheel and I read that you can safely increase the gallons per minute up to about 4 or 4.5 gpm ( please research ) and so my current water pump is 3 gpm and so this one at 3.5 gpm, didn’t seem like a risky gamble and when your in an rv, we could all use a little more gallons per minute. The max amperage on my shurflo is 7.5 amps and my rv has a 10 amp slow blow fuse in place. This one has a 9 amp max rating and I believe it’s suggesting a 15 amp fuse.Hopefully my information can be helpful though I haven’t yet put this water pump to the test.

I needed a 12v water pump for an off-grid application; it has to provide pressure for hot showers. When I saw this product, I thought it would work. I got it, and when it came in it seemed pretty good. I liked that it is a pressure-demand pump; when you open a valve, it kicks on. This is very handy. I also liked the filter screen on the inlet side. This helps with pump longevity. I installed it.The installation of the pump was very easy. There are four mount points, all I had to do was run screws into them. Be sure to put washers beneath the heads of the screws or they may pull through. Also, you don't need to torque these down very tight, just enough to ensure the pump is solidly mounted. Wiring is dead simple. Route red to power, and black to the ground. That's it. You could wire a switch, as well. I plan to. Of course, you also have to install the plumbing lines, they are 1/2 NPT. Don't go crazy—while this is made of tough plastic, you can damage the pump housing if you're not careful. It was time to try the pump. Then, after turning the water source on, I turned the pump on and I had pressure. I also had several leaks. Of course. No plumbing job is complete without leaks. After repairing the leaks, I turned the pump on again and was struck by its quiet operation. This pump does a very nice job with the shower, I included a picture of the shower running from pump pressure. It also does great on a small washer. This is a very good pump, and I can recommend it without reservation for those who need a 12v pump.

At the time of ordering this was $50 plus a $10 off coupon so for $40 it's a heck of a deal. I use a lot of these pumps in my off-grid homestead and I get my water for the house, barn, and various outbuildings from collecting it off the roof (you can do that in free states in the east...). One of these small diaphragm pumps and a pressure tank and the house system works fine. They generally last 2-3 years before either the pressure switch goes bad or the motor needs new brushes. Sometimes getting parts can cost almost as much as buying a new pump so I usually have 2-3 new or rebuilt ones on hand ready to drop in when one starts to go bad.The only real variable will be how long it lasts. I didn't need to replace the current pump but since I am doing Vine evaluating, I dropped it into my system and have the old pump as one of the backups. So far with a full day of running the barn water system it works as I expect it. If this pump lasts more than a year then it'll keep its 5 stars. If it dies quickly or has other problems I'll reduce the rating as appropriate.
