The fear box on our original had a slip, so I decided tto replace it with one that, hopefully, operated faster. Bought this and installed it, which was easy enough. We took our fifth wheel out and it operated fine for the hook up. Arrived on site and the motor would simply stop while raising the 8-9" to get it off the truck. I would wait about a minute and it would run again. Finished up and it lowered fine. I decided to reposition the rv the next day. About 4" in to the lift it flat out died, never to recover. Fortunately I'd saved the old motor as a backuo and reinstalled it to finish the trip. Just buy the original, slow as it may be. This one wasn't discernably faster anyway. It is garbage, as far as I can tell. I bought it over the winter and can't even return it - just threw away the $$.
