My fault, I thought these screws would be universally sized. They are not.

The movers lost one of the original screws from a 40 year old dresser with mirror. I was happy to have found these.

While the screws were a bit shorting than the ones I was replacing, they work as expected. They are sturdy and look really nice.

This is a fine set of mirror-mounting swivel hardware. it worked well on the shaving set I made for a customer.I had to install the nuts in hard black cherry, and knew that the slot provided for setting with a screwdriver would be totally bitched-up, so I devised a technique which worked well:I found a bolt that fit the nut, threading it all the way in until the head of the bolt was against the outside end of the nut. Then I used a socket-wrench to drive the assembly into the predrilled hole in the frame, taking care that it went in as straight as possible. Once the nut was seated in its place, I backed the bolt out, and found that even though the nuts were not set perfectly axially straight, they work just fine, the resulting tension even adding a bit to my desired resistance to swinging so freely that the mirror did not stay where I wanted it.I would buy this product again.

I liked how easy it was to screw them in. They went perfect with the vintage mirror I got them for.

I have a vanity my grandmama gave me when I was 13. I am restoring it to give as a gift to my daughter. The original mirror screws were lost in a move and I was not finding anything like them until I came to a listing for high point which looked exactly how I remember the original looked! Just finished everything and worked perfectly. Would recommend!

These mirror screws look great and are very nice quality. I was using them on a solid oak cabinet. The only way to install the threaded inserts that I found would work was to use a thread tap. You can't just drill a hole close in size and screw the insert home--that might work on soft pine, but not on hardwood like oak. Precision taps aren't something the average cabinetmaker has, as we rarely have cause to machine small diameter threads into hardwood. Fortunately a friend of mine does a lot of metal machining, and was able to lend me exactly what I needed--about $100 worth of fine tools.
