The chair also folds down for easy storage and transportation. The proprietary Highwood high-grade poly lumber used in this product offers the most realistic look of natural wood WITHOUT the headaches of maintaining or replacing every few seasons. This product has been load-tested, per ASTM F1858-98 (2008) standard for outdoor reclining plastic furniture and has a 400-pound weight capacity. Some assembly is required (see assembly guide) and assembled chair dimensions are 29"W x 34"H x 36"D (33lbs). For the easiest assembly, we recommend using a cordless screwdriver/drill or multi-bit handle for the enclosed Torx bit.

..and about a sturdy. this will last for years outside in the elements. I do fold it up and shelter it when possible, but has been in the elements a lot more. I's buy it again. Color's cool too.

Australia based, assembly is seriously fool proof, fast and easy. Very, very comfortable, got two of them with the side table, all Nantucket Blue, it looks great, feels great, and with the added benefit it is made of long lasting material. Looking forward too many years of enjoyment and easy maintenance. For the price and longevity, I wouldn’t be able to make it myself.

Wanted to upgrade the chairs around our firepit and really like the durability of the Highwood polywood product line. Highwood products are easy to put together and come it variety of colors. We selected the Nantucket Blue as it matches the furniture around our pool. The Hamilton Adirondack chair is perfect look for the firepit, and the adjustable back meets everyone's individual needs.

I bought several, same brand, same color. The adjustable adult size is my pick. I am 5' 3" 145lbs. Heaven to sit in. Assembled all my chairs and tables by myself. Easy to put together. Beautiful color. Cannot wait to finish firepit area and start entertaining! Wind will not blow them over!! Customer service is amazing and very kind. Glad I did my research first!!!

These are lighter than another brand I bought last year. Easier to carry, but it makes them feel less sturdy. The chairs went together well and I could do it without a second pair of hands. The instructions could be a little clearer - but it was fine.The chairs are comfortable and look good. That's the most important thing!

MADE IN THE USA / GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE : Decided to get rid of crusty looking aluminum lawn furniture this year. Ordered thru Amazon because of the 0 interest for 18 months payment!! 2 Garden chairs, 2 Adirondack chairs, Side table, Backless bench and a Garden bench. The color of all the pieces is nantucket blue, the look and the feel of the pieces looks / feel real. Reached out to the other manufacturers for sample of colors, never heard back. The young lady at HARDWOODS was pleasant and helpful the both times I contacted them ( She should get a 10% commission from the sale, about $200, because of her I finally decided to go with HIGHWOOD). With the right tools (cordless drill,Hex Head Allen Wrench Drill Bit and grandkids) the builds went well and pieces fitted together well. Looking forward for years to come family and friends enjoying the cool fall and winter nights in SFLA while sitting on these comfortable /sturdy/well made pieces of furniture. Thank you HIGHWOOD!! Thank you AMAZON for selling quality products.NOTE!!!!10 months later both Adirondack Chairs arms finish were fading and slats were fading on one of the chairs, Contacted Highwood, issued resolved with 1 new chair and arms for the other. These are nice. Not as solid as others I have purchased but still pretty heavy. I would not advise for commercial use. Even though I measured they still feel smaller than expected. I got the adjustable version but I would recommend the non adjustable version for more stability and less scratches on the deck. Delivery was insanely fast. Box is pretty small. Assembly took about half hour per chair.

Style and comfort are great. Assembly was super easy (less than 10 min all told). chair flexes a bit more than I'd like it to when you use the arms to push yourself up and out of the chair. Could be a matter of the chair being the "foldable" style...but I wish this model had the spreader bar at the base of the front two legs like other similar models from the same manufacturer had. i think that would help with this model's flexibility a lot.

So I did a ton of research comparing chairs to purchase. These were appealing in that their finish looked like woodgrain, would not fade in the sun, could recline etc. These are all true and deliver on those points.I have two issues with the chairs. By their very nature, you sit fairly low. When you go to get up and you plant your hands on the arms of the chair to help you get out of it, the arms move around a great deal, do not feel solid and actually feel like they could break. Mine haven't broken yet but i am very careful and this is a departure from what the competition feels like.The second issue I have is comfort. I feel like there should be an additional slat on the furthest back part of the seat. Feels like your butt is hanging off an edge and it's really not comfortable.If you still go forward with these chairs, be careful when you get in and out of them and make sure you purchase some thick cushions.

I received this chair the other day and just put it together this morning. The instructions were very well stated and all the equipment that I needed was included in the packaging including the drill bit to put into my drill. I put it together myself and it probably took between 15 to 30 minutes. The quality of the pieces look really good the chair felt very sturdy and comfortable when I sat in it. I like that the product looks like it is made out of wood but I know I can keep it outside and it won't have any issues with the weather like wood typically would. It makes me feel good to support a small company based out of Pennsylvania and thr products are made in the USA. I will be buying more chairs in the near future from them. Thank you so much!
