Nice and stretchy, allowing me to wear a baseball-style cap over it to protect my eyes from the sun and adding a bit of insulation to my head during these cold MN winters. My hair fits under it up or down, though having my hair in a low pony seems to be the easiest way to wear it. The part that covers the mouth is easily moved to eat, drink, etc., without disturbing the part covering my head and neck. My Flex Beats cord also fit under without issue. No problems with pressure or compression over my ears/earbuds, which was nice. Love this!

I got this face mask for my husband to use on his recent ski trip, and it was absolutely perfect! The fleece material is super soft and warm, providing excellent protection against the cold and wind. He said it kept his face and neck toasty the entire time, even in freezing temperatures.The fit is great—snug but not too tight, and it layers well under a helmet without feeling bulky. Just tried this out on the trails in 20 degree weather.Good fit, soft no itch liner. Thin enough to be worn under a bike or ski helmet.I like that it has a nice wide base that seals out the cold from the nape of your neck. No scarf was needed as I could close my jacket on the wide bottom part.The multi function hood can convert from a full head/face covering to a scarf like neck gator easily and doesn't feel too restrictive .Using it over my nose still fogs up my safety glasses when Mt biking. Wish there was a way to keep that from happening, but otherwise I really like this balaclava.Also, there weren't any washing instructions, so I just hand washed it and air dried it before I used it for the first time.

Product is awesome! Time it took to ship hear kid of sucked. Took over a month to get here. I needed it for the cold weather. But it finally got here. And it fits and works great. I need it outside under my hard hat or in freezers with my hard had. Great feature to cover your neck... blocks the wind.... still breathable.... but flexable enough to pull down when you need to speak. ANd pull down the entire thing around neck when you walk indoors.
