The black and turquoise are both the same brand. It turned out beautiful and is a major upgrade from the lava rock. I did rinse it before I used it because it was dusty and that made a huge difference, I definitely recommend doing the same.

Love the color. Shimmers when there is a fire burning. Glass that came with it was much darker but it was also rounded, this stuff looks like broken glass with some sharp edges. Probably not a problem if you dont poke around it it or are careful how you handle it.

Beautiful addition to my fire table. I did not rinse off the rocks like others recommended, but I did poor the rocks out in a strainer and there was a fair amount of glass/dust that came off of them. Both pictures posted show the before and after with the glass. No problems with the glass turning black thus far and I love the size and color. Used 1.5 bags on a 17.5 inch pan.

The rocks were beautiful. We have the propane fire pit from Bed Bath and Beyond and I just ordered one bag after reading one of the reviews but it is definitely nicer with 1 1/2 - 2 bags depending on how much you want to cover. Even without covering the middle silver plate I still wanted 1 1/2. Unlike other reviews, my rocks did not turn black after the first burn. Burning them now for the second time and still look beautiful. Would definitely recommend!

Great looking fire glass and it was the best price around for a 10lb bag. I got Turquoise and the color is a nice and rich.I also like that these glass chunks are 0.75"-1.0" in size - bigger than many alternatives. Bigger chunks means fewer but bigger openings between chunks, which typically results in a taller flame closer resembling an actual fire (which is the effect I wanted). Smaller pebbles typically results in a shorter flame that is more evenly distributed across a larger area. All depends on personal preference really.It looks like I will actually need another 10lb bag to completely fill my fire table dish - I will definitely be getting this style for my next order - maybe this color, or maybe I'll mix in some green as well.
