First off, these are great! for those who are having noise issues, as is the case with these types of circuits, always use shielded cables for input signals, and definately use a clean (no "switching" noise) power supply...Any type of 'switching' power supply that does not have adequate filtering WILL put noise into the output!!as for what i am using these for... I make my own custom 'sound generator chambers', i which i use to calibrate precision microphones systems....they are stable and work quite well for what i do, in my opinion...as for distrotion, matching the output impedances, and not 'overdriving' the input, solve that problem in most cases...my 5 cents :-)

I purchased this to amplify my DIY mini retro game emulator via Raspberry PI 4. The built in sound was just not strong enough to drive the speakers I used. Although this solved my problem, it is very sensitive to ef interference. There's a noticeable hiss at any volume above zero. It's not bad enough to not use it though.

When placed next to a Bluetooth receiver, this amp radiates electrical noise (EMI) that causes a buzz in received Bluetooth audio. Moving them apart 6 inches, or sheilding this board, solves the problem.

These are functional. However volume and sound quality aren't very impressive compared to other products available for a similar cost. For experiments and projects where low fidelity and medium volume are acceptable these are functional. If you intend to use them for music I'd pay the few extra dollars.

I used these to make a 2 channel headphone amplifier. I powered it with a USB power cable (5V). I can connect this up to my laptop with the USB powering it and have output to 2 headphones with individual volume controls. These sound nice and clean. The input to the amp is a 3.5mm jack, but I made solder connections to the bottom of the board and ran it to an input jack in the case.
