In all fairness, the project I used these for was probably outside of their intended scope (hammering into wood), but I probably bent 1 out of every 3 or 4 of these. Because the head is so wide relative to the thickness of the nail, if you hit it wrong the whole head bends and it's almost impossible to undo, wasting the tack.

250 pics did this double size headboard with 12 pics left. Very easy to push into place and where there was wood, had to tap tap into place. Every single pin was usable too. Thanks, really love it.

Wow, these " tacks " blew me away. SOOOOO MUCH STURDIER than they look, and larger too. For what I am using them for ( a restoration of a power wheels Baja Extreme) they are really perfect. But I have to drill a tiny starter hole for them. They can be nailed in gently without any denting which is great. I will go around the whole seat " cushion" so will update with a completed photo after.
