An assortment of various sizes of stainless steel "S" hooks from Hillman. "S" hooks loop into a hanging chain or length of rope in order to hang baskets, overhead lighting, and other light-duty home & office applications. To create a more secure hanging point, "S" hooks can be opened or closed using pliers. Parts in this assortment vary in overall length from 1-1/2" through 2-1/2". Full assortment contains five (5) refills comprised of Hillman item numbers #4291-4295.

Used in lifting, the s-hook can be looped into rope or chain. The s-shape makes attaching and removal of the hook easy. The shape also adds to its strength to distribute weight evenly on both hooks. S Hooks feature wood-screw threads that make them easy to fix directly into wood or timber to create convenient hanging points. Can be open or closed with pliers to insert or remove connection.

Just the right size for a multitude of tasks. I utilize wire frame grid panels to hang wire plant baskets, tools etc. S hooks make my efforts smooth & darn near effortless so having them around is necessary and these fit the need splendidly 😎

Vendor stated "Contents vary in overall length from 1-1/2" thru 2-1/2" Not true. No variation what so ever. All were 1 1/2"

I used this for attaching storage rack to chains hanging from ceiling. Seem strong.

They're solid hooks, but they not of the shape pictured. The picture shows an S shape. The hooks I received are more of a rounded Z shape. So it doesn't really hook.

Just a bit thinner gauge than I expected. For heavy weight bearing, order the next size up.

Yep. S curves. You use them for hanging stuff up. These are exactly that. Not too big and not too small.. Yessiree, maid out of honest to god metal, not plastic painted to look like metal, of the size and gauge specified. I have an industrial shelf where I keep things that would go in the pantry if I had a pantry (who is the idiot who designed a house with no pantry? I use my s curves to hang pots and pans on it. But, you can probably come up with more creative uses.
