An assortment of stainless steel round base & long prong tee nut variants from The Hillman Group. Tee nuts provide an easy way to place steel threads into wood and provide the greatest amount of pull-out resistance of all threaded insert types. Variants included in this assortment range from #10-32 to 3/8"-16 in fine & coarse thread sizes and all measure 3/4" in height. Full assortment contains ten (10) refills comprised of Hillman item numbers #4142 - #4151.

These tee nuts put steel threads into wood without the need for counter boring. Just hammer the nut into a predrilled hole in the wood until flush, and then fix in place with brad nails hammered through the holes in the base of the nut.

Used on solar panels for the RV. They work very very well with a screw-in stainless steel knob. I'm happy that I don't have to worry about rust from these on the roof of the RV.

These are high-quality, non-magnetic steel, exactly as described. Placement of holes is consistent and threading is good. Fit inside a hole made with a 5/16" drill bit and secured with M2.5 bolts (the small side holes are just under 1/8"). 3/4" wide, about 3/8" tall overall and 5/16" deep (the thickness it spans). One order got me a box of 15 of these.

Excellent quality and well worth the purchase. But do keep in mind you actually get 15 pieces or so for this price. Not a single T-nut, nor 20 pieces, but 15. :)
