This kit has multiple tools and most of them are made out of metal not plastic. (It does have two plastic tools, which serve a purpose but they can break easily). My point is the kit is a huge upgrade from the plastic only option and I have already repaired multiple drawstrings. If for some reason your drawstrings keep getting pulled out, this is the kit to buy and at this price it is a bargain.

This set is almost perfect. The tools work on every kind of drawstring. Simple and easy to use. I really wish they would have placed a little instruction booklet or sheet in with the tools as a reminder of how to use each one. This is not something most people would use every day. It is easy to forget how to use and which one to use for the different types of drawstrings.

I got these tools because I'm getting tired of all the times the drawstrings come out of my family's hoodies and pants. I've tried different homemade tools, as well as simply by hand, inch by inch. It's tedious and doesn't usually work. The variety of tools have changed the process, for sure. I'll admit, I don't know what some of them are for, but I don't think it'll be difficult to figure out. Some of the tools seem to be okay quality, while some feel a little on the cheaper side, but that's not a big deal, considering what they're for. They're thinner, but that's good, so they'll fit through the drawstring channel in clothes. They definitely make it easier to re-thread the drawstring, which is the point. I look forward to using them for a long time.
