Fits my V twin Kawasaki engine like the OEM but without the metal mesh screen. Screen not important, filter and prefilter open cell foam look to be good replacements and works well so far. Would buy again if needed. Came on time and intact. Filter paper and bonding seems good or better.

This filter takes advantage of the extra space in the filter compartment. The filter fits fine when it is finally installed, but both ends of the filter mounting tube must be disconnected to install the filter instead of just the thumb screw. This is because it has to come straight down into the compartment to fit. It is taller in the area that provides filter surface area - so it probably has around 25% more filtering surface area. It comes with a open cell foam pre-filter which I very lightly sprayed with K + N filter oil.

Perfect air filter replacement for our John Deere x500 lawn tractor. Took about 45 seconds to replace but the fuel filter is about half the size of the existing one. Had to order one that is correct and this one is going in the trash.
