Bigger than expected but I'm not deducting any stars since the size is listed. I'm writing this review for others just to give you an idea of the size of a large so you'll know what you are getting if you are new to using beads like I am. 40lb mono fits easily, havent tried on anything bigger. I haven't fished with these yet but I'm hoping its worthwhile. I "charged" them for a few seconds as with an LED flashlight and they give off a dull glow. Might glow better exposed to UV for a little bit. Hope this is helpful

I ordered these on a whim as they weren't very expensive. They are smaller in real life than in the photo. Will still use.

Yeah they glow , but they are a bit pricy . Felt like a heel when I found 50 pcs for the same price ... live and learn .

Suprisingly enough, these beads do catch fish. Used them on our last fishing trip, and those using the beads out-caught non users almost 3 to 1, as i crushed my father in a proverbial landslide of red hake. Would definitely buy again, no questions asked.
