I got this unit in late March of this year. I've used it pretty consistently throughout the time. This past week it decided it was just done. First it started with a nasty grating noise and then the fan blade just stopped moving. When it did work it worked well to cool my room. But now I am out a window unit because it's basically just a brick now.

This very nice looking "AC" unit makes a pretty $200 fan. No cooling at all. Spend money elsewhere.
