Is It Worth The Repair?

Some issues are worth fixing while others aren’t. In the case of a bad TPS if your car is relatively new with low miles then it has a long road ahead of it and maybe it is worth your while. Now if your vehicle has existing damages, high mileage, and now mechanical issues then it's best to sell that AS IS to avoid throwing away your hard-earned cash into that money pit.

I had a P0122 code on my 2004 Honda Accord so I purchased this, which it did clear the code. About two weeks in, my car started getting a high idle (1000-1500rpm) so I made a little adjustment to the sensor, that’s when the code P0122 came back. After much research with the high idle, I decided to just replace the whole throttle body which came with a new tps sensor and idle air control valve. Hopefully that’ll solve the high idle problem.
