Same Motor was twice as much from the manufacturer plus shipping. It was fairly easy to swap out only difficulty part was soldering the wires to the new motor. Drill works lIke new. Had some concern after reading the 1 review but I couldn't be happier with this purchase

Replaced the motor in my Hitachi drill with this and it was significantly lighter then the motor I was pulling out. After replacement I used it to drill a couple of 1/8 pilot holes and it worked fine. Used this yesterday with a 3/4 drill bit going through 2 inches of wood and it couldn't do it. Half way through it stopped working, took it apart and the motor was shorted. I picked up the cheapest drill at Walmart that cost $5 more then replacement motor to finish the job. Save yourself the headache and don't buy this.
