I build a lot of themed props and items that need to look like they belong in a particular time period, and one of the hardest things to get right is fasteners - screws are so important for access to the interior of many props, but hiding the very modern Philips head can be a challenge. I love using these little caps because you can simply run the screw through them, snap on the lid, and hide the screw elegantly under a nondescript brown cylinder.I tested the Medium size, which is what I tend to use around the workshop for the #6/#8 screws I commonly need.I had previously used similar covers from a different, local vendor and I find these to be broadly equivalent. The difference is that this entire package of 100 costs what I paid locally for about ten of them, so stocking up in bulk represents great value.

These worked great for the screws I didn't want to be noticeable. I ended up spray can painting them with Rustoleum before use so that they matched the project that I was working on and it looks so much better for it. The top fits securely into the bottom piece and, so far, they haven't popped back out of their own accord.

Worked great for what was needed to be done. The only thing you have to be careful for is the insert process. Very easy to under or over screw the item making it difficult to snap shut. Once you get that down they work real good. Over screwing can ruin the piece to be easy with the attachment process. Good value too.
