poor packaging ,end broke out of rod containerinside of shipping box , (not delivery drivers fault . ) 0Hobart welding rod co. fault their rod box to long for rod .to much slide roomlets rod get a run striking end of plastic box .at least the rod survived will need to transfer it to waterproof containerstill happy with what i got

Best I used so far. Easiest to strike and arc and even when striking a new arc after running a smaller bead. The beads look smooth as well

theyre good rods for what im taking care of, however second time i ordered them they sent me the 1/8 rods instead of the 3/32 and that same box wasnt even packaged well they broke through both boxes mid shipment because all it was packaged with was a handful of packing paper

This rod works like a dream ,but could be a storage problem once opened does not like damp or humidity

Rods showed up in good shape and made some real nice welds. The one thing is the flux seemed sort of soft, (compared to excalibers), so had to take care handling.

These sticks work great for what they are and for a good price point. I still favor the Lincoln Excalibur rods more, but these are a close second. They run pretty smooth, and hold up great. They look good and strike up nicely. The only reason I wouldn't rate them higher is because I got more than a few that were broken, ie the slag had been broken off. This could have simply been from shipping, but it was still a great let down after spending hard earned money on them.
