SAFE Technology Makes Flight Easy
Multiple Flight Modes
Beginner: Pitch and bank angle limits prevent over-control. Airplane automatically returns to level flight when the control sticks are released. Makes it easier to take off and land.
Intermediate: More freedom in pitch and bank, but still prevents significant over-control.
Experienced: No pitch or bank angle limits - allows flexibility to fly inverted (upside down) and perform aerobatic maneuvers including loops, rolls, stall turns.
- PANIC RECOVERY: Switch to Beginner Mode and release the sticks if you lose control in Intermediate or Experienced modes. SAFE technology automatically returns airplane to level flight.

With SAFE Plus added you get:
AutoLand
Activated by simply holding down a button, the advanced AutoLand function puts the airplane on a stabilized approach to land on its own near the GPS initialization point. You can even provide some directional guidance to avoid obstacles or to adjust the approach while letting the system do the rest to execute a safe landing. As your skills progress and you gain more confidence you can take over more of the control inputs, eventually learning to land without any assistance from the automated system at all.
Holding Pattern
This very helpful SAFE Plus-exclusive feature essentially allows you to "pause" the flight by putting the airplane into a GPS-guided holding pattern. When activated with the quick press of a button, the airplane will automatically return to a position above the GPS initialization point and circle until the command is cancelled with another quick press of the button. It's a great way to safely hand the controls off to a friend or to regain visual contact if you ever lose sight of the model.
Virtual Fence
It's easy to accidentally let an RC airplane fly too far away, but with Virtual Fence, worry no more. It creates an invisible boundary the airplane won't fly past. When the airplane reaches this boundary, it will automatically turn around and fly back toward the GPS initialization point. Then it will "wag" the wings to let you know when you have control again.
Telemetry Capable
The Carbon Cub S 2 is equipped with an ESC that can provide a variety of real-time power system related telemetry data including motor RPM, current, battery voltage and more to compatible Spektrum AirWare equipped transmitters (including the DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/G3 and 8 G2, the DX9, iX12, iX20 and others) while you fly.
Durable Design
Construction with advanced EPO material delivers a lightweight yet durable airframe that's tough enough to handle everyday flying punishment without getting bent out of shape. And in the unfortunate event you damage any airframe parts or components and can't repair them, a full line of replacement parts is readily available.
Easy Assembly
The Carbon Cub S 2 arrives mostly factory-assembled with the power system, servos plus the flight controller and receiver installed. All you need to do is finish some quick and easy final assembly, without the use of glue or special tools, and you'll be ready to fly in less time than it takes to charge a battery!
Versatile Gear Options
Thick grass, gravel paths, dirt trails; you can fly from these and many other surfaces that are impossible for most models of this size to handle. The robust landing gear is equipped with oversized tires that soak up the bumps of rough surfaces and provide excellent prop clearance. The optional float set (sold separately) takes just a few minutes to install and all the necessary hardware is included with the aircraft and float set so you can fly from lakes and ponds.
Optional Flaps
Functional flaps are an option for improved slow speed handling and even shorter takeoffs and landings. This feature requires a 7+ channel computer transmitter plus a flap servo and a servo extension (sold separately).
Optional Landing Assist Sensor for Smoother Landings
The Spektrum Landing Assist Sensor (LAS) is easy to install and provides automatic "flare" control to help inexperienced pilots "grease" landings by minimizing or completely eliminating bouncing (works over many/most surfaces and provides optimum performance when flying over/landing in grass).

j'ai acheté cet article sur amazon l'ensemble a été livré j'ai monté l'avion tout est ok . Mais la ou le probleme apparait c'est lorsque j'ai voulu enregistrer la radio DXS spektrum on m'indique que la radio est deja enregistrée et que je doit contacter l'ancien propriétaire (je ne peut pas faire de mise a jour sur cet radio et je ne peut pas changer de mode)Donc j'ai été livré d'un article d'OCCASION que j'ai payé au prix du neuf.(la radio n'est pas neuve )

Pour le moment je n'ai fait que le montage. A chaque fois que vous prenez l'avion en main et que vous avez les doigts sous la carlingue la soute se fissure! Vous entendrez un légé crissement mais trop tard une fissure de plus. Un conseil tenez-le sur les côtés. Concernant la technisité de l'avion en vol, celle-ci sera testé en avril par un membre d'un aéroclub.Je vous donnerai donc plus d'informations dans 1 à 2 mois. Achat pour moi personel. Pour la qualité du matériel prix un peu cher!

As a kid, my dad and I built a few R/C planes and just could never keep them flying for long; a failure I was drawn to correct 40 years later. Thankfully, I came across this plane kit. The beginner mode is a savior and gives a novice pilot time and confidence to learn how to fly an R/C plane the right way. It took a couple hours to put everything together (taking my time). From flight one, I felt success and a big thrill. And although my first day of flying ended with the plane in a tree (100% pilot error), a big feeling of accomplishment was still achieved. The plane survived the crash and tumbling down half the tree, and I even flew it for about a week afterward with half a tail (that's how solid it flies) before the replacement I ordered came. I have since replaced the propeller as well - many replacement parts can be purchased online. Highly recommend to all!

This plane is amazing and so much fun to fly. I am fairly new to the RC plane crowd, but have been flying drones for years. I was really surprised with how easy this plane is to fly. In beginner mode you can really get a good feel for the aircraft, and flying in general, and then move up to advanced mode where the flying really opens up. It is nice that you can switch between these modes on the fly (no pun intended), letting you fly casually and then flip the switch and start doing loops and barrel rolls, all in the same flight. The assembly was easy (it was bigger than I expected) and the RTF kit has everything you need to start flying. The kit comes with a 2200mAh battery, which gives you some decent flying time depending on how much throttle you are using. I also ordered a Spektrum smart 3200mAh battery which fits perfectly in the battery compartment and allows for an extended time in the air. I have not had any issue with not having flaps, if there is a little breeze you can fly into the wind and fly extremely slow without issue. I have only used this on a grass field and really haven't had any issues with nose overs...just one and that was my own fault, and with the durability of this plane there were no issues. There is also some nice add on equipment, such as Landing assist and GPS, that can be purchased for a relatively low cost, that can really help if you are a beginner pilot. There are also floats that you can purchase for water take offs and landings. I live on a lake so I really like that!! I would highly recommend this plane to anyone. It is a great plane for a beginner to get into the hobby, but also a fun plane for the seasoned pilots as well. Have Fun!!

This product is much better than I originally thought. This plane is really good for beginners if you are just getting into the hobby. All of the features are great that come with this plane and is more than capable for easy flying. Easy build, no broken or damaged parts straight out of the box, and very high quality. Not just the performance of the plane is good, but it the engineering of the colors and scale details are very good and look much better in person. Highly recommended for anyone even if it’s not your first plane, it’s great in all aspects, and is worth every dollar. Hope this helps!
