Hard as heck to install but they tell you that up front. Once installed, they won’t budge and will give you an unbelievable grip for your firearm.

I installed this in one minute. I soaked the grip in hot water for 2 minutes stretched it a couple of pulls while air drying. slid on the beaver tail end over the mag well first, then pulled the trigger side on. slide on with very little effort. Great fit and grip. The texture is perfect, and the grip add enough size to the frame for my larger hands. Does not interfere with the magazine well. Great quality for the price. Going to order another for my other pistol.

Makes the single stack shield have some nice girth to it (lol) but it’s kind of dependent on personal preference whether or not you’ll like it. It almost doubles the thickness on the sides, but not all the way up and down the grip. The finger separation feel nice in my hands, but could be small for someone else and it kind of depends on where you put it along the grip. There’s a few millimeters of space left on each side from dead center when the grip is on, so you could move it up or down to accommodate larger or smaller fingers. The rubber texture is easy to grab and feels nice with concealed carry so I like that.Overall it’s nice for me but it’s hard to know whether or not it will be for you. Cheap enough to try tho and if it doesn’t work out you can always just cut it off since you’ll probably make yourself angry trying to take it off

The Shield's narrow frame makes it a firearm that can be difficult to grip for someone with larger hands. This grip helps fatten up the grip and takes up the gaps between the frame and my hands and makes the firearm very pleasurable to hold and to shoot, even in 40 S&W. The ridge in the grip also helps maintain a better grip on the firearm while firing it.I installed this grip 3.5 years ago and it has held up perfectly to years of use and daily carry. This grip does take a little bit of effort to get installed, but was worth the effort. I soaked the grip in hot water for a few minutes before stretching it on the firearm. I did not use a tool to pry it onto the firearm. Take things nice and slow and you will get the grip installed and it will be firmly in place for years of use. I used the same process to install these grips on several other firearms with no rips during installation.

Great product with perfect fitment, adding a tad of pistol grip girth and easier grip. My keys to easy install was to follow the directions first. I boiled a small amount of water just enough to sink the grip in, rolling boil via microwave, then dumped the grip in it and let is sit for about 10 minutes or so. I checked the water temp and how hot the rubber was a couple of times, and once the water was reasonable to retrieve the grip touch wise, I pulled it therefrom. Prior to doing this I used Spray Way glass cleaner which is the foaming kind you can get at Costco, as it is what I had on hand. I sprayed about a quarter size spritz on either side of the gun handle and smeared it about with one finger. The thing that really helped me due to weaker than I would like hand strength was to wear rubber gloves; the type that are a very small black knobby palm with a stretch type back of hand tighter fit glove. I figured rubber on rubber would make it easier and boy was I right on that. I did not put any Spray Way inside the grip sleeve itself; only on the gun handle as described. I stretched the grip N S E and West a few times then followed the instructions sliding up the beaver tail side first. I used the shoe horn cut outs as described in the instructions, but only on the non beaver tail side. After a try or two I got it over the other non beaver tail side, and with the rubber gloves on was able to slide it into position and make some adjustments thereafter. I removed the shoe horn plastic cut out rather easily with a pair of pliers. Once done I set it out in the sun to heat the rubber and dry the small amount of Spray Way glass cleaner inside the sleeve on the handle as described earlier. All in, effort time wise, to get the sleeve on the gun handle was less than 10 minutes. Added to the water boil and let it sit time, all in was about 20 minutes start to finish for the total time to install. Love the look and feel and highly recommend for the gun I installed: S&W MP Shield.
