The stakes are very sturdy. I purchased 4 of them for outside and they are wonderful.

Fell apart. Sucks since it was easy to use and great to mount a camera on our rural property

This is just what I needed to make videos and selfies while on my hiking trips. The ground is never stable enough for mini tripods, especially if you want to use gimbals and trackers like the Insta360, which has a lousy integrated mini tripod. But with this, you can just push the stake into the ground, mount your Insta360 or DJI (or your camera or phone with mount) on its screw mount, and you can film absolutely anywhere with any dirt under your feet. There's also an integrated extender if you need it. This should be a standard part of your video kit if you are filming outdoors.

This is a very versatile mount. I use it to keep one of my outside ARLO cameras in place in a flower bed. The screw mount fits my ARLO camera perfectly.

I had never though of using a stake. This makes it super easy and they are way more stable that I expected. Good job. LOST ON STAR FOR $23 price, should be half.

Purchased two of these for my backyard and would purchase them again if I need to replace the original two. The problem that I was having is that I was having trouble drilling into my aluminum pool cage to mount a camera facing the back of my yard and the lake area. The quality of the stake is very good and I’ve had the two stakes installed for about a month now with no problems. The stakes are very sturdy. The community’s landscaper doesn’t trim the landscaping bed where I installed the stake, so I get a good view of my backyard. Meanwhile, the landscaper does mow the lawn around the stake, edge, and blow, and the stakes haven’t had a problem. Here are some pros and cons as I see them:Pros:1) Easy to put together and doesn’t require any tools2) Can mount a camera in places not possible with other fixed mounts3) Can move the camera to new location if needed. I had to adjust the angle a little so that the motion detector wasn’t going off so much and that was very easy.4) A bunch of adapters to fit most security cameras. Took me only a minute to figure out the Blink connection. I actually didn’t even read any of the instructions. Just put it together.5) Think that the stake is aluminum so they shouldn’t rust out. I’ll update this review in a few months if the stake rusts.Cons:1) As others have mentioned in reviews, the stake isn’t overly tall, but works in my application. If you need a tall stake, this product isn’t for you.2) Not sure what I’m supposed to do with all of the other camera connections. I saved them but there must be 5 or 6 pieces of plastic that I’ll probably never use and I hate to just add the pieces of plastic to the trash. It’s probably just easier to put all the connections in the box, rather than have separate versions of the product for each type of camera system. But it seems like a lot of plastic.3) Probably better to physically mount the camera if you can, because these stakes could be stolen with the camera. I’ve noticed some landscapers looking at the cameras. I guess I’d have them on video taking the camera! LOL. We’ve actually captured a lot of video of the wildlife in the back yard, so that’s been pretty awesome. Bunnies and other wildlife seem drawn to the camera.Overall, I’m really struggling to come up with cons for this product.

So this is meant to be used with security cameras, but honestly I'm not sure that I would trust any camera on here. I took this out and tested it with a small action camera just to see what kind of weight it can manage before putting my expensive security equipment on it. Even with the little action cam, it didn't seem super sturdy. I ended up not using my security camera on it because of that.
