These things work great for securing items to the walls of our plastic shed walls, but are a little tricky getting started and you need to use a pair of needle nose pliers to hold in place.

After trying several other potential solutions, I purchased these. They work great in a hollow core door and once tightened feel very firm and solid grip. One downside is they don't have anything on the back to keep them from spinning while you're trying to get them started. Most fastener like this have a grip surface on the back to prevent this, but not these. Some needle nose pliers quickly resolve this long enough for them to get started.

Attached all of these to my door, and it still kept floating to the surface, which would have been OK, except now where am I supposed to tie the body!

These anchors are very sturdy and they’re great for hollow doors that are an inch thickness. The only issue I have with these is they have no prongs so they don’t grip the material you’re screwing them into. I had to use a needle nose pliers to get them into the material. Other than that, they seem to be holding great.

These do not have the little teeth needed to stabilize them while screwing in the bolt, so they just spin instead of receiving the bolt to tighten the flanges.
