I put this on a 12 gauge KSG. I had the gunsmith sight it in for me, and its dead on... even at 100 yard slugs! Obviously, this speaks to the gunsmith's ability more than the sight. However, even after nearly 50 slugs, 50 buck shot, 200 birdshot shells, the sight is still perfectly on target. The dot is also extremely crisp, and being able to switch between single dot, dot and cross, and just cross was a neat surprise! Well worth the money, and frankly I won't be buying EOTech again after this legendary performer.

Easy to use bright led sight mark, adjustable brightness I like it better than an EOTECH as a civilian. Not sure how it would hold up in the field but it also has solar power if your batteries die that I like very much. I also think it looks better on the rifle than an EOTECH. Once you set brightness it actually can adjust as you move in and out of a darker room to a well lit room so the brightness stays at what you set it in regards to your environmental light source.

10/10 would recommend - YouTube has some great durability videos on this red dot. You’d be surprised at how big of a beating this thing will withstand !

I have owned this little optic for about a year now. First on a rifle but now resides in my home defense shotgun. I have found this to be a tough well made optic that holds zero even through punishing recoil of a shotgun. I have had zero issues with the QD mount attaching to the picc rail of my firearm and once there it is rock solid. The reticle is crisp and clear even with aging eyes. The adjustments in illumination level is easy and is palpably visible. There is some blurring on the highest level, but this in no way makes the optic unusable at this level. The sighting adjustments are a little mushy, but you can feel each click. I was able to Ranger Wrap my 510c to match my A 300 and that was like icing on the cake for this tough little guy. One drawback is that it has an open emitter that could become dirty or occluded. After several range trips in dry dusty conditions, I have yet to experience a failure in function. This optic is a solid addition that you can depend on plus your wife won't kick you out after purchasing it!!

a bit on the pricey side, but once I got it I understood why. Very good build quality. The field of view is extremely clear. I love how easy it is to power on and off. But best of all is the tiny solar panel which it has to help preserve battery life. Overall great optic right out of the box and super easy to install to the firearm of choice. For me it just sat a bit lower than I liked, so I installed a 1/3 riser (spacer), very satisfied with my purchase and worth every penny.

The old adage, "You get what you pay for" holds true for this sight. I really tried to find a lower priced sight that would be "almost as good" as this sight. I'm not a fan of overpaying for something that's a couple of percentage points better. I believe that I will never regret paying the extra price for this sight. The construction of it is exceptional. I purchased it for my Ruger PC9 and it sits perfectly! The large screen (glass) is super easy to sight. I like the built-in solar array to support the battery (it doesn't charge the battery but the sight runs off of it instead of the battery in bright light). I also like the automatic mode where the unit changes brightness depending on the ambient light and turns off after 10 minutes of inactivity. Then is wakes up when it senses movement, and it doesn't take much. I have red dot sights on my handguns as well and I've always like them. This sight has a 65 MOA ring that can be selected along with (or by itself) the red dot making it extremely easy to locate even in high stress situations. You won't be disappointed that you purchased this sight. Although you might have to eat beans and wieners for a few meals to pay the extra price. Do it. You'll be glad you did in the long run.

I waited almost a year after buying this to do a long-term review. To all the haters who told me I NEED to buy a top-tier optic like an Aimpoint or an Eotech and this isn't reliable, I can honestly say this optic is very sturdy and reliable.I've ran this in several competitions now, it's been thrown around in the back of a truck, been drenched in water, and been attached to a carbine with almost a thousand rounds of recoil and it has held zero and still as reliable as day one. I can hit 1/3rd ipsc targets at 100 yards without any problems, and I'm not exactly good. Granted, I don't abuse my equipment all that much, I'm not going to be taking this thing to war or running over it with a truck just to prove a point, but for 99% of "normal" applications this thing is rock solid.I shopped around a lot before buying this, compared against other brands, I get less "star burst" with my astigmatism compared to other brands of red dots (specifically the Sig branded ones are bad for my eyes), the optic is clear and the illumination is plenty bright for bright outdoor conditions with plenty of brightness settings for any situation (fwiw, the Vortex optics IMO don't have enough brightness settings, and don't get quite bright enough for direct sunlight, but an etched reticle can fix that problem).Holosun is the real deal. I might buy another one soon.

I bought this for my 45/70. I was a bit worried about the recoil but after some research I found out that this red dot can handle a lot of recoil. The sight is very clear, reticle is nice and crisp. I would buy again.
