The SCS-VP9-GR (Solar Charging Sight) is designed for the H&K VP9 optics-ready handguns. It is designed to attach directly to the slide without an adapter plate. It uses our innovative solar charging system with multi-directional light sensors to automatically adjust brightness in dynamic situations.
The SCS handgun sight can potentially operate indefinitely using an internal, rechargeable 20,000-hour battery meaning under even moderate exposure to bright light, you will never need to change batteries again. The SCS also includes an intensity override function which locks the optic into a high brightness mode for 30 minutes and a low power indicator which warns of low battery days before charging is needed.

Awesome RMR sight, fits HK VP9 perfectly - no matter the model as long as it has the RMR cut-out. HIGHLY recommended.

The wrong size screws for my VP9, optics ready, were in the box. I called Holosun but only got a vmail telling me to send an email, which I did. They responded quickly and after a couple of emails (pic of the optic serial number), they sent the correct screws. Mounted easily and sighted in rather quickly. Optic is great. Not a huge fan of them not answering the phone but customer support took care of it.

Hands down the biggest piece of crap ever. Screws sheared off after 6rds. Holosun was terrible at support but sent me back the same optic (with new screws) a month later. Horrible fitment and very small viewing window. Stick to US made products- this was a burner and I don’t have the heart to resell it.

It was built for my HK fit right on works great seems heavy duty, looks great, solar charge, but the best thing i like is the green dot it just seems more soothing to the eyes than a red dot. great product thank you.

The SCS is a very solidly designed sight. It's easy to use and works well. It's easy to fit on the pistol. HOWEVER, Holosun sends 2 CHEAP cast-metal screws to attach the sight to the pistol slide. On the very first shot, both screws sheared off and the sight went flying into my forehead, then bounced onto the floor. The sight appears to be undamaged, but I have to have the pieces of screws removed from the frame by a gunsmith. I have shared my unhappiness with Holosun. If you buy their sights, you may want to consider getting some actual steel screws instead of the crap that came with the sight. In the photos, you can see that the first (only) shot went nearly dead center. The other photo is the frame showing the sheared off screws.

Super easy to install. This went on a vp9 tactical optics ready pistol. Since it has the threaded barrel it has the higher suppressor sights. Thought it would be an issue but absolutely not at all. Works very well and enables easy use of the iron sites. I dig the three different setting of dot, circle and combo. Just wish they came with a cover so when you clean it you don’t get the optic all messy. Luckily there is one from dream plastics that came in today and fits perfectly. Very happy so far. The ease of setting it up and zeroing was actually fun too. Sucks you always have to have the tool but I’m just leaving it in the range bag. I don’t switch between ammo much on these 9’s so shouldn’t be an issue.
