Nice sturdy plastic, clip is very sturdy and secure. Only issue I have is there is a little bit of wiggle when the radio is fully inserted. I'm afraid it may pop out and drop the radio if I need to run around. Other than that it holds the radio like it should.

No "click" on the holder so if you are on lite-duty, the holder works....however, you will need your own clip made in the U.S with at least a better metal. The spring broke, the pin fell out and the clip/holder is rendered useless...might as well hold your radio in your pocket....would not buy again.
