Homewell Rock speaker
Designed to last. The rock speaker is molded out of polyresin and is weather resistant. A solar panel located on the back charges the speaker even in cloudy weather. The rock speaker is Bluetooth 5.0 enabled and you to easily connect with your smartphone, laptop, tablet or MP3 player wirelessly. Connect up to 8 Satellite speakers to the main for a total of 9 speakers maximum.
Solar Charging
To fully charge the speaker using the solar panel allow for 3-4 hours of direct sunlight. Rock speaker will charge on cloudy and sunny days.
USB Charging
A 3 foot mini USB cable is included with the speaker. USB port is located under the plastic cover located on the back of the speakers.
Bluetooth 5.0 Compatible
The pairing range from your device to the main speaker is about 30+ feet and about 30+ feet from the main speaker to each satellite speaker depending on obstructions and environmental factors. Effortlessly connect to any Bluetooth-compatible tablet, phone, computer, or smart TV. Not compatible with Alexa or Echo.
Multi Connect for the First Time:
Step 1: Make sure to toggle the switch to the left to set the main speaker.
Step 2: Turn on the main Speaker by pressing the power button on the back and holding for 3 seconds. The main speaker will flash blue. Double click the pairing button next to the power button and the speaker will flash blue and green. It is now ready to connect to satellite speakers.
Step 3: For each satellite speaker make sure the switch is toggled to the right.
Step 4: Turn on the satellite speaker(s) by pressing the power button for 3 seconds. Then double press the pairing button next to the power button. It will connect to the main speaker and say "connected." Repeat for all remaining satellite speakers.
Step 5: Open your Bluetooth settings on your device and select Homewell speaker. The main speaker will say "connected" and all speakers are ready to enjoy.
Toggle switch to the left to set the Main Speaker
Power on the Main Speaker by pressing the On/Off button for 3 seconds / Double click the Pairing button
Toggle switch to the Right to set the Satellite Speakers
Power on the Satellite Speaker by pressing the On/Off button for 3 seconds / Double click the Pairing button

Purchased 4 speakers in March of 2023, started using the by the pool, only had them out in the elements while they were being used and someone was in the pool. Difficult to keep them all 4 connected and playing music. They intermittently disconnect themselves and you have to go and do the whole connection again, taking it over to the master and holding it close until it turns back on and connects. As of 9/1/2023 one of them already has gone "bad" and will not reconnect no matter what we do. Attempting now to figure out how to get it replaced or returned, we purchased the extended warranty, and it seems to be clear as mud. We shall see...

I bought six of these to use around my pool. Pairing them was pretty simple, but I've had to pair all the satellites back to the master several times over the last 5-ish months that I've had them.It lists the the bluetooth range as "about 30+ feet". Interesting that they use the term "about" in there, as well as the "+". In my usage, I have a couple of them a touch over 20 feet from the master, and they will briefly garble for a couple of seconds (usually near the beginning of a song) for a couple of seconds and then clear back up. This happens a few times an hour probably, but it's not a party-ending interruption or anything. It is well worth that minor issue to be able to place them all around the pool without having to run wires.The solar charging has worked well so far. I've never plugged them in and have run them for as long as 7 continuous hours without them failing. I do live in Arizona where the sun is in no short supply. If anything fails, it is likely to be the batteries. The batteries are replaceable and the instructions for (and specific specs of) replacing the batteries are included.Overall, they have very good sound and work well. I'm docking one star because of the "about 30+ feet" bluetooth being closer to 20 feet -on level ground with no obstructions- in my experience. I've recently purchased a pedestal to place the master on to see if that increases the range and reduces the occasional garbling. But I shouldn't have to do that at 2/3 of their listed range.

They simply do not work well connecting more than one. Sound is really good, I bought two and had so much trouble with crackling, losing signal from each other and distortion, but alone, if we'll placed, this speaker is really awesome! Gave the second to my brother and he enjoys his very much as well.

Love the solar recharging. It is always ready to enjoy out by the pool or spa.Worked great until wind blew it off table and it shattered to pieces!! Now I’ve got a very expensive pile of sharp resin pieces on my pool deck.
