I wanted these for backyard practice. They are okay for maintaining muscles and shooting form. The 8 mm size is perfect fit for my 21/64ths inch shafts. Unfortunately these rubber blunts are too light weight (6.8 grams/105 grains) for the spine of my arrows, and I don't have a convenient way to add to the tip weight. The rubber performs well, glancing off of solid objects, gripping the round surface, and it avoids arrows burying under the grass. For now, I'm limited to close- range shooting at stumps and tennis balls.

Good value, and work well for me, simply slipping over a shaft with the tip removed. For me, I'd not glue it. It holds fine. If felt it needed to be tighter, I'd just use some brown paper tape.I did try it on my target block to experiment with it's effect. I only did it one shot since saw immediately that doing that would mess up a foam block target block. Of course, pending the Bow LB, it packs a wallop nonetheless. It's not a kind to use in those "paint ball" like war games, this would leave a mark, no matter what imo. I just would not use these, that way.I speculate that any small game would be finished, as hit by a car finished with a 40LB Bow. I speculate that anything 30LB or more as far as for target shooting and you'll risk chasing allot of stuff in many directions, and risk damaging your shafts and fletching. I'm trying to figure out what kind of target I could use and avoid that scenario. I think more like a loose sand or bean bag where it just stops, dissipates it's energy in that hit is how that may work. This is my first supply of them and do like the idea of a non-destructive type target since we don't have bails of hay and etc. My foam block with field tips lasts long enough, so I was just seeking out new stuff to just see options. I'm thinking like 4x6x8 cloth bags to knock off a 2x4 with like a hanging sound-blanket backing or board.Anyway, I was glad to see these, and at a reasonable price; and, if remains the same. If price or quality changes, then, that's a different review.
