These were purchased to hold air plants and they're perfect for that use. They would also be useful for holding eggs. Arrived quickly.

These are virtually useless to hold an egg for eating. I should have returned them but waited too long.They are very springy and unstable. I have other wire egg holders that are rigid and hold eggs steady when using a spoon. These are ridiculous and the eggs fall out as the springs collapse on one side when one tries to spoon egg from the shell.

I bought these not for eggs but for my makeup sponges. Works perfect. You can wash your makeup sponges and just pop them in the little cages. Even looks cute on my vanity. Very happy with my purchase.

Arrived super quick and as described. The quality is awesome and don't mind a spin in the dishwasher.Our Aussie eggs seem to be a bit small so they sometimes sit a bit low but other than that they are great and we have figured out a modification.

can it be squashed a bit to reduce the height? It seems very high to me because half of the egg should be outside the pocket according to the originals from more than 50 years ago
