After eight years my engine was running very rough, like it wanted to stall then accelerated, over and over again. Lots of talk on the internet about the carburetor, but I figured after nine years, might as well change the spark plug as well as getting an engine/carb treatment cleaner. Put the spark plug in and all is running smoothly. Added the engine/carb STABIL treatment after, so hopefully that will averat a carburetor issue in the future.
