I just installed this tank pad today on my CB500X. It's very easy to install and in fact all 3 pieces are installed together, so they are all aligned with each other. All you have to do is make sure the top part of the tank pad is aligned properly, and the rest takes care of itself. It looks fantastic IMO, and will give the tank some much needed protection from zippers, etc. Just be sure to clean the area first with Isopropyl alcohol before installing the tank pad. (comes with an adhesive backing) This tank pad is cool and classy, somewhat understated, but looks really good!

I've had problems in the past with generic tank protectors so I thought I'd give a genuine Honda one a try. Over a month later it seems to still be stuck firmly on despite being exposed to the hot and wet of Florida.
