A great price which also comes with nice extras. The unit is not too heavy and has a good feel. Time will tell how durable it is. The quality seems good by the fit and finish and by the fact that it’s not real noisy or “sloppy”.

I was really shocked at the performance this polisher gives because of how low the cost was. This polisher has very little vibration and is not very heavy. Trigger lock is easily accessible. All in all the machine is very easy to use. Didn’t use the pads what came with it so I don’t know how they perform. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I personally don’t like dials that don’t click when changing speeds. I also found that while the machine has just enough power to get the job done, I had to carry it to speed 6 which I never did with any other polisher I owned.

Tenia mis dudas por no ser marca conocida pero ya que lo use para mi negocio se detallado automotriz, funciona muy bien cumplió mis expectativas. Lo recomiendo solo comprar unos pads de marca los que trae no son muy buenos.

I received this polisher months ago, but for various reasons I was unable to use it until recently. When I went to use it, the unit was dead. Although it was far too late to return it, the seller reached out to me and offered to send me a new one, even though I didn't ask. The replacement polisher works just fine. Solid unit at a very reasonable price. Their customer service went above and beyond. Not expected, but much appreciated.

Great polisher, purchased for my first time paint correction and it worked very well . Pads included are junk and I switched the backing plate to the 5”.. I will probably switch out the grease since it got a bit louder by the end of my detail.

Full disclosure. I replace the grease in an polisher before use. I put in white lithium grease. It's reduces vibration, noise and heat.Anyway. Picked this up on sale. Had lots of doubts. But was pretty sure it was make at the same place as another more regarded brand. It operates very well. Nice smooth rotatoions. Doesn't vibrate much at all. Pretty quite too.The speed dial has mid settings as well. I.e. 3 or 3.5It's a really good unit. Durability? Can say yet.

I got a "Car's Gift" brand 2 months ago and polished 2 cars. It vibrated like mad, occasionally left swirl marks, and took a long time. I got this one and have now done 2 more cars. This one is noticeably quieter and less vibration, and the long-throw makes the job go a lot faster.I had 4 fears that turned out to be non-issues.1. The long throw wasn't difficult at all to manage.2. THe trigger placement concerned me. I thought I'd keep gripping the trigger, accidentally releasing the lock. Not once have I accidentally disengaged it.3. Another reviewer said that although the orbiting was solid, that the spinning stopped far too easily, with the weight of the unit. Total nonsense; if anything, the spinning takes excessive pressure to stop it. The stopping is a good thing - to prevent swirls.4. Too heavy. It's not an issue at all. The slight extra weight and length makes it far more stable & less vibration and helps it to work on horizontal surfaces. I could one-hand the job, allowing the weight of the unit to do the work.I also really like the variable speed. It's not a dial that just triggers 6 different speeds; it actually does partial increments as well. Really nice when you want a little more than 4, but not quite a 5.I got the 3 year warranty for $12 because some reviewers said it can break easily. The only downside, not a fault of this unit, but sometimes you need a 4" for the tighter curves. This one only comes with 5" and 6". I can't imagine needing the 6" unless doing a camper or van.

I purchased this DA polisher about a week ago and finally had the opportunity to use it to compound, polish and seal the paint on my 10 yr old Subaru Impreza. It was the first time I did this type of paint correction work on my car since I had just bought it in January. The paint had been pretty neglected from the previous owner and I wasn't expecting miracles but was definitely hoping to reduce/ eliminate swirls, most scratches, and to bring out as much gloss as possible for an older car. I was really floored about how well the machine performed at this price point. Far better than Harbor Freight polisher. It really helped me to accomplish the above stated goals I had.It has a very capable motor and longer throw (15mm vs 8mm) to make the job more efficient. Entry level machines that have similar specs are easily $125-$200. All and all the total process for my car took about 8 hours but that's because I'm pretty meticulous but not a professional. I broke the labor up into two afternoons. Prior to this polishing process, I washed/ stripped the previous products used on the finish, and clayed the car with some really great clay bars found here on Amazon. In case you're curious, I used the 303 compound and polish (I gave them a shot on advice from a friend...meh), with Griot's 5.5" pads (orange ugh, blue meh, and black finishing microfiber me likey). I decided to try out Meguier's Hybrid Ceramic Wax Spray as the final product to seal and enhance the work I had done which I applied by hand(this is by far and away among the best spray waxes I've used). I know, I know. There's better products out there but hear me out. This is a 10 year old car, in the middle of a pandemic where money is tight and I was simply looking for a solid outcome that would improve the look and condition of the paint and protect it from another harsh, northern Ohio winter. The old girl doesn't have delusions of Pebble Beach. Nor do I have a bunch of disposable income to blow on a measly 3oz of the world's most pure carnauba wax imported from Brazil and served with a side of caviar. This is my daily and I wanted her to look the best on a budget. Now some details about the unit itself:I like the longer length of this unit with it's rubberized handle near the cord and the speed control dial that is easily accessible just north of it. I was able to adjust the speed with just my thumb and not lose grip of the machine. Also, I prefer to use the platypus handle over the larger side mounted one for most of the process but it is nice to have towards the end of each 4 hour block because this polisher is a bit heavy. It does take its toll on you when working the lower sections of the car such as bumpers too.It isn't very loud but produces I would say a medium amount if sound. I was able to talk with my uncle while using it in just a bit if a raised voice. The motion is smooth and didn't produce a harsh kick upon starting nor while stopping. It didn't stall or bog down once. But that can also be attributed to cleaning the pads from residue every couple of sections and the working time of the compound and polish (which was actually pretty short tbh but not enough to induce a panic). The polisher came nicely packaged with the 6" mount attached and 6" cutting and 6" polishing pads as well as a 5" mount and 5.5" pads (all foam) of the same types. There's a wrench to remove the mount/ head and an allen key to remove the bolts on either side of the polisher to allow for the optional handle to be screwed on. Handle is sturdy as is the whole polisher. Made of metal in the right spots and high impact plastics. I didn't tear the machine down to look inside but a full diagram and extra brushes are included. Then a canvas tote is included to carry all this. I think I'm going to buy a soft sided tool box to store this instead. I'll use the tote for towels etc. All in all, a LOT of bang for just over $60 during Prime Days. Even at regular retail, it's a bargain. So the real question is how well does it polish? Anyone that's done this before knows that is a loaded question that really is tough to answer because so many factors are at play. A big one being the skill of the detailer and another being the quality of the products being used. And of course, one must have realistic expectations of how much improvement is possible based on the condition of the paint. But as for a stand alone DA polisher, it really is a steal and got the job done without a single hiccup. I'm hoping that it holds up for a while and from what I have experienced so far after a pretty good 8 hour work out, the future seems bright for this DA polisher.Overall: Solid performer, good build quality, bargain priced especially for a 15mm throw and all the included accessories, warranty included. A bit heavy and clunky to use on lower portions of the car that made me work up a bit of a sweat at times. Overall, probably the best bang for the buck anywhere for these specs in this price point ( at least that I could find after hours of reading the whole internet lol). Definitely worth a try for an average car guy/enthusiast wanting to go a bit further (than Turtle Wax and an applicator pad) in trying to make a very noticeable difference in the appeal of his daily driver. This is not what a pro would reach for but then again, I'm not a pro and have no intention of being one. But this machine surely helped make my car look darn good after years of neglect. It's my new go to. Very satisfied thus far and think you will be too. And if not, remember, you have 30 days to return it to Amazon. You've got nothing to lose.Oh, and if this is your first time polishing and compounding on your own, there's a wealth of information and videos out there. This DA really is pretty safe to use. There's definitely a feel and skill set that can be honed with some good instruction and just diving in. Suggestion: To get a feel for the machine, just use it to wax at first. Try a couple panels on lower speeds. Provided that is not an All in one or heavy cleaner wax, your risk at damaging your paint is very low. This way you just get to see how the machine operates. Adjust the speeds slightly for a few seconds as well (but just for a few seconds) and concentrate on your technique. This will help to build your confidence for when it really matters and you start compounding.Remember, less is more. No need to jump to speed 6 with a pad dripping with compund as you muscle the machine onto your car's hood. I never went above speed 5 and let three or four pea sized (not jumbo olive) drops of compound and the machine do the work. Less speed, less product and less muscle is how it was taught to me. You can always take off layers of clear coat bit by bit, but you don't want to think about trying to put it back on.Lastly, be realistic about the outcome. Did you do good prep work? Did most of your medium and light scratches and swirls get removed? Is the overall appearance of the car improved and can you feel good about the time you spent? Paint ages like our faces. Not everyone gets a full face lift. Some just need Botox and some just need a good moisturizer. So don't kill yourself trying to achieve pristine perfection. You'll only damage your car and your ego. Swthimgs are just outside of your control. For instance, Subaru is just known for being cheap skates when it comes to their paint. But I feel I got the best result that I could personally achieve. And as long as I'm feeling the good vibes in my ride, that's all I can ask for.Have fun, take your time learning and in the actual time of application. Avoid shortcuts and enjoy your new hobby. You got this and this polisher will help you do that!
