I'm reviewing the 6" version of this fan. It is a powerful fan. The fan has static vanes to enhance fan performance. There is very little vibration and the fan controller can drastically reduce fan noise and output. Very impressed with the quality. I have purchased many Hon&Guan branded items and found them all to be of high quality. I wish they made a 10" version.

OK for a cheap little fan it does the job it’s 130 CFM so it’ll work in a 24 x 24 x 32” space but don’t expect too much from it

This small fan is working great for exhausting the fumes from the 3-d printer that we got for Xmas. We made a hood over it and this fan fit inline perfectly. The speed controller is nice to dial in pulling fumes without making the room cold. It's plenty powerful for anything we'll ever need it for. The noise is directly related to the speed of the fan, we only need a small draw so it's pretty quiet. It seems decently built- plastic, but it's not getting any kind of abuse so it should hold up well. The price is pretty decent for a duct fan. It was quick and easy to install and keeps the printing area nice to be in.

I am using this duct fan to pull air outside from a small airbrush paint box and it's perfect for that. It's small and lightweight, and the plug in speed control works great. It's not super powerful, and it's mostly plastic, so don't expect it to heat up or cool off a room if you're using it to boost airflow. If you're looking for just a little help that is easy to set up and won't break the bank, this is the solution.

It's working great.Powerful airflow, fully and even excessively enough for my purposes (air extraction from the tent for the 3D printer).Smooth adjustment of the flow power.At maximum rpm is noisy, but the noise is related specifically to the airflow, not to the operation of the fan.Satisfied with the purchase, I recommend it.
