I bought two, and they were absolutely fantastic. Balance is solid, and it is the size advertised, handle is comfortable and the guard functioned fine. However, the material isn’t very reliable, as the front of the guard broke off after two sparing sessions of use and practice against the other grosse messer I bought. Wouldn’t recommend based off how brittle it was, it feels like I just rented it.

It’s sturdy it’s a little heavier than my other ones but I’ve had it for 1 month practically using for sword fights worth it

this is a very nice looking two handed sword, the grip is fantastic, the matiral isnt the best, but holds up, its biggest problem is that its weighted poorly, its lighter than another training sword i have for one handed, and is about the same length as well, the weight is also in specific spots rather than being evenly distributed, over this is a great toy, and makes a fantstic bat, or tool for use is showing off, but a poor training sword

Don't be that helicopter parent that hovers over your kid.. You played swordfighting with dirty fence boards in the alley growing up. Get your kids something cool, because you know you would have LOVED this growing up.

This item is absolutely amazing but the only problem I had with it is, is when I finally got it the package wasn’t sealed like it had been thrown around multiple times

I have very large hands. This thing is supposed to be a one handed sword. This could seriously hurt someone if you struck them with it in a sparing setting. It has no bend so thrusting isn’t an option. The point of balance is about 10-12” from the crossguard. Overall, not pleasant to handle, hurts to practice with, and entirely unsafe to spar. Could work for cosplay but there are better swords for that. Is probably indestructible, but plan to return rather than test. Hard pass.

The sword came slightly warped so I sent it back.
