This is definitely one of the nicest jackets I had ever owned and it has done an amazing job keeping me warm all winter. The materials used are high quality and everything is stitched up to last for years. It is extended in length to keep you warm even when the wind is whipping. It has done perfect in the snow keeping me completely dry and out performed jackets that costed a lot more. I will be keeping an eye on this company and their products for sure!

As I'm getting older, the problem I'm having with winter coats is that when I find one that fits great across my chest and shoulders, it's too small for my middle, and I can't zip them up. I lived in south Florida for the last decade, so winter coats hadn't been an issue, but I just moved back to the wintry North again this summer and discovered that while my midsection has grown over the last 10 years, heavy coats have only gotten more "slim-fitting".Problem solved with this parka! Not only is it comfortable and super-warm, but it fits my middle-aged belly quite easily while still fitting great over my shoulders, arms and chest.The double zipper can be a little tricky to get started. It has two zipper pulls so that you can unzip it from the bottom a little ways to give your legs more freedom when sitting down, and getting the end of the zipper threaded through both pulls to get the top zipper started can be a challenge, but with a little practice and patience it works just fine.

When it was delivered the jacket itself was cold because it had sat out in the cold in its box, but when I put it on it almost immediately felt great and warm to me. This is a lightweight coat that still gives good warmth. We got down to 14 degrees F last week and I felt comfortable in the jacket, but I am usually outside for only 15 minutes at a time.I like the little details. The hood is removable but it is incorporated so nicely. There is a zipper at the back of the jacket but there are flaps on the hood on both sides that velcro into the collar of the jacket, which makes it look seamless to me. The hood itself is a bit bulky when wearing but I haven't found a hood that can cover your head and not get in the way of your face in my life yet. There are your regular outside pockets for your hands, but also zippered inside, and a small zippered pocket on your left arm. They call it a credit card pocket, but I am a female wearing this men's jacket and I put my tissues for the road there. The zipper is on the left side when wearing, which takes a moment for me to get used to because my previous jacket (also men's) had it on the right side. I like the magnet closures at the top and bottom of the zipper overlay flap. I like the double zipper but sometimes I struggle to get it closed (but not as much of a struggle as I have with my stiffer fabric previous jacket). I ordered a size XL, which I usually wear in upper wear, and it fits me well. It is nice long over my behind and in the sleeves.There are two sewn in loops at the neck area, I assume you can put your scarf through there, and hang your coat on it. That's the only thing that's a bit weird to me, it doesn't have a standard loop (horizontally at the back of the neck) to hang the coat, it is a vertical loop sewn in at top and bottom.All in all this jacket screams quality to me. I got it for free as part of the Amazon Vine program, but when I need a new jacket (hopefully not for a long time) then I'd gladly pay the price ($189 when I ordered) - it is worth it.

This coat arrived quickly and undamaged.The material and construction are excellent. It is very warm even in a cold blustery snow storm. The two problems I have with it are that the sleeves are about 2 inches too short and the zipper pull is on the wrong side for a man’s use. The coat is proportioned very nicely for a medium size woman.Would I buy this again, Yes for a woman, not for a man.I use Amazon reviews every time when considering a product purchase. Here is my rating scale:5 Stars: Excellent product, no hesitation recommending or using.4 Stars: Good product with some limitations, could be improved.3 Stars: Fair product, can be made to work if your put your mind to it.2 Stars: Not very functional.1 Star: Don’t bother, it might even be painful.
