Using this boot to cover a poultice wrap. It’s doing a great job of keeping my wrap clean and it gives her more cushion for her to walk on. Have been using boot for 12 days straight, it’s holding up really well. I do have to wrap duck tape on top of boot, otherwise my mare rips velcro off. 😂. Velcro is strong and would hold fine if my mare wasn’t being a pain about it!

Worked for a horse healing from a bad abscess to help with the pain due to poor hoof quality. Helped offset the pain with walking due to walking on sole. Lasted for a week of Daily wear in pasture.

This bandage protects the foot and wears like iron! Great value. Hope they don't raise the price because of a generous review.

So much easier than making a duct tape hoof wrap and they allow the hoof to breathe better too! The pic is after 2 weeks of wearing it on one of my horses that has a bad stone bruise that resulted in an abscess. It's still completely solid even though the bottom shows some wear from our sand and gravel. Once you get the hang of it, these are really easy to put on and very adjustable. I always wrap with 2 diapers (size 3 pullups are perfect) and then put the hoof wrap on. I've been using these hoof wraps for YEARS, as I used to have a senior horse who was prone to abscesses even though her PPID was well controlled with pergolide. These wraps are awesome.

We tried these after battling with diapers and duct tape for an abscess. This was way easier to do and more durable than duct tape. Our gelding paces a lot in the morning before food so these held up decent but only lasted a few days in total. The foam pad was practically destroyed after the first night. I grabbed another pad for the second day of use and sane issue. If the foam was a bit stronger and the fabric reinforced it would be perfect.

My horse had a hoof wall issue and I needed to keep his foot wrapped and clean. I put this over the wrap to keep the wrap on. It did. But within four days of stall wear it had worn through the toe. So, overall, it was faster than a duct tape boot but it certainly didn't wear any better. I can buy a lot of duct tape for $25.

Only lasted for a few days in stall/paddock wear. Boot was totally destroyed, in shreds around ankle. Nice idea but I think the velcro and material is too lightweight.

Pretty good - my guy has huge feet (he's a 16.3 TB) and this bandage barely covers his big hooves, but as we worked though an abscess - and he was in the barn for most of that - this bandage was a great help. He had a big abscess under his sole, draining through the bulb. This bandage was good for keeping the poultice in place after soaking. I used it with vet wrap under it when we started but just used the bandage alone toward the end, to keep the hoof dry and clean. Once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy to slap on (my guy is impatient so this mattered). It's not made to last forever, but it got us through a week and a half of use and will be good for more if/when necessary. You can wash it, and I use my dog's slicker brush to clean hook-and-loop fasteners/snaps. That really makes a difference. I'd definitely recommend.
