These are great hooks! We put them on wood overhang to hang our lights and they were super easy to install. For 48 feet, we only used 12. They’re so versatile!!! I used one to prop up the remote for my lights on the side of the house. Easy to remove as well! Performs as expected!!!

Pros: it's an inexpensive solution, it didn't require drilling into our new deck roof, the clips are relatively discreet.Cons: the adhesive sticks to your project material; however, I don't know if it was due to the heat but the adhesive came clear off the clip (pictured). It's a satisfactory method if you don't mind the occasional maintenance of "resticking" a new clip. In our case, it will do as we don't want to drill and the finished project looks nice.

Plenty of light from dim to bright, U can't read a book by it, but it lights up my whole deck so no one trips or falls,and can be seen from far off.

On paper these things looked like a perfect fit to hang my string lights on my aluminum patio cover. As you can see in the picture, the sticky pads stick GREAT to my metal patio cover, but terrible between the sticky pad and the plastic clip (already connected at the factory). Many clips have come apart between the sticky pad and the plastic clip.I followed all the directions correctly , even spaced them apart 8" less than the maximum span. After only 7 weeks or so I've had to replace 10+ of these things. Very frustrating.Some of the clips have worked perfectly, but 40+% of them have failed, causing me a lot of headache to get the ladder and fix.Still searching for a better sticky pad solution...

I used these to hang string lights along the outer perimeter of my enclosed sunroom. They seemed to be extraordinarily strong adhesive and I tried pulling one off after it was stuck for a couple of days. I could not remove it easily. They blend in with the decor and are not visible. High-quality product so far.

I put up these clips and lights this time last year. Well I just went to put them back up and the clips just bust off the mount plate. The entire plate itself is adhered well but the plastic just crumbles.Waste of time.
