This won't really get your bore very clean. It'll keep your gun running until you can break it down and use the traditional method.

Look, I'll keep it brief. This makes cleaning the inside of your barrel incredibly easy and fast. Just run it through with a little cleaner on it after every range trip, and you'll keep that bore in great shape.

I use this one on my ruger 450 bushmaster rifle and on my .460 revolver. One or two passes and the barrel gets clean. I usually run a patch through first with CLP and follow up with the boys snake.

I try to keep one of these with each of my rifles and several more in my cleaning box for handguns. They are great for a quick clean that helps keep the fouling to a minimum. I know you can use solvent on the brush area, but I prefer a rod, separate brush, and several clean patches for deep cleaning. Although they say you can, I would never put one of these in my washing machine. Hand washing? ok

I bought this as a means to clean my .450 Bushmaster, its a big bore, and not many kits have it. It was quick and easy to use, similar to other boresnakes I have used.
