We wanted this wider length as we're building a 4 unit breeding pen out of a shed. The outdoor pens will be encased with this. We're done with the roof, and on to the sides. I'll add a picture when done.We live borderline a forest and farmers fields, but even if we lived in town, we'd use this 1/2" hardware cloth to keep the chickens safe. We've already been using it for other pens here and had a skunk and a fox circling the pens looking for a way in, but didn't try. A bear could get through it I imagine, but the ones here don't go for the chickens, so far.If anyone has a rat issue in their coop, cover all openings with this. They cannot get through it.

Best to use to keep predators out of your coops! We have the whole cooped wrapped with it. This was a great price too.

Originally I was just going to paint the normal silver hardware cloth black, but then we found this and I'm super happy about it! Great quality. Easy to install. Very worth the cost.
