Holds up to two standard size pew pews. Both a 9mm and a .45 if you want and a few mags.There is a light inside to help you see what is inside, but it’s brighter on the top shelf.Can use a key to open, or use a 4 digit code to unlock. When you unlock it, be careful because it springs open fast. Which is good for emergency situations.Can be bolted to a shelf.I liked mine so much I bought one for my girlfriend.

Point One: I did not buy this to store my gun from THIEVES is more for easy access and proper storage from kids.Two: The box metal is not the strong and door seems flimsy. I expected that not a shocker for me.Three: The locking latch needs little lubrication DW40 will do the trick for smooth operation.Four: It works and has a little LED light inside big plus for me.I saw a negative review from other shopper with uploaded video and I still took the risk. And I am glad I did.Five: This box will take a big space on your Night Stand.Six: Have the key available in case Batteries die. I ran some drills trying it to open the box on my room pitch black. Is little difficult to place the key in right promptly, but I will get better.Hope this helps fellas.I will upload a video how to set a new combination from the initial set up 1-2-3-4.5 stars Good buy for my intended purpose.

My safe arrived today. The only negative thing to say is that the outer shipping box was destroyed. Possibly it was dropped and broke open, but the Delivery Guy was still able to deliver it. The inner main box and contents were OK.It looks in extremely good shape. No scratches or dents.I was able to open it with the keys with no problem. Inside is very nice, lined with foam and included a desicant pack.I followed the instructions and they were exact. I added the batteries (Not Included) and re-programmed the code. The door operated perfectly. Spring loaded. There is a white LED inside, but it is very dim. It will probably be brighter in total darkness.It appears to be very strong. it has six mounting holes in the bottom. I plan to bolt it to a shelf in my closet using Carriage bolts and Loc-Tite so it will be extremely difficult to remove. They will have to break the shelving to get it out.

Love this little storage "safe" for my home defense 9mm pistol. I don't think it would be hard to break it with a heavy hammer or to pry it off my nightstand with a heavy pry bar, but at least it keeps my pistol safe from kids or casual theft.The box looks good and the lock functions perfectly, would recommend for quick access bedside storage only. I would use a more significant safe for any real valuables or for non-home defense firearms.

Sorry demons, not *those* kinds of possessions! I’m talking about the valuable stuff that you don’t want anyone to steal. For me it’s my rocks. Yup, I collect ‘em like pokemons! I have some big ones and some small ones. Some are more concrete and some are more limestone. I don’t have anything too fancy like igneous or metamorphic in my sedimentary rock collection but if you think about it, sedimentary rock only makes up 8% of the earth’s crust so they are actually the most valuable. And that’s why you need a safe for them, duh. My favorite thing about this safe is that it has a shelf so I can put my favorite rocks on top and the tradeable rocks on the bottom. I highly recommend this trusty little vault and if you want you can even use my own secret code 1234 :)

This was a great purchase, one we needed to purchase for a while. Only negative thing is the door pops open and can be loud if the safe is directly on a table or night stand.

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. I only take my gun out of it once a week when I go out of town and I ordered this in June and now the door won’t latch shut anymore. 6 months and $100 wasted. Now my firearms are open for anyone to take and use or for my kids to get to.

So I got this yesterday, unit was packaged well...foamy stuff around the safe. Opened the instructions and unlocked it with the barrel key, inserted the AAA batteries, programed the new code in. Worked as expected. Was able to fit 3 pistols inside without any issues, two subcompact and one full size. The beeping noises the keypad makes are annoying, but luckily you can turn those off. Door opens quickly, keypad is responsive. Has keyway holes on the bottom of the unit to secure it to a piece of furniture or a shelf or the floor. Have not decided if I am actually going to mount it on anything, but I do want to do something, as when closing the door the safe slides around a lot. I may get some grippy stick on feet and secure those to the bottom, because I think my wife would be unimpressed if I mounted it on the dresser :)
