Flags are HUGE and makes the flag end VERY heavy. There is no way a normal person would RIDE carrying this with the flag (which the advertising image shows) at would very likely get caught up in equipment and be dangerously irritating as it would end up being beneath the horse's belly much of the time, plus could entangle in the tail.If using in-hand, when extended it is heavy to hold and very fatiguing to use, plus size again makes it awkward to use with any kind of finesse. I wanted to use with a very long rope for in-hand work as didn't want a training stick's string to get caught in the rope, this size of flag will get as easily caught as a string plus too awkward to use.The sponge grip is VERY small, about 5 inches, which fits my hand because I am small, but will not fit most men's hand or that of many women. Had counted on the very positive reviews to make my purchase, and am VERY disappointed. Going Back!

My trainer suggested I get a red flag for corrective action training for my horse. For $10, I received 2 poles and multiple colored flags as shown. I've offered up the extra flag to anyone who might need it.

The flags are of nice quality but the package did not contain any poles even though the description states 2 telescopic poles included. Very disappointing as returns are a hassle..

The pole is not durable. It broke pretty quickly. Otherwise it’s a great training tool.

So far, can't complain, seems fairly sturdy, I can put it in my pocket since it telescopes, and the pushy horses are listening much better now.

This 10 piece Horse Training Flag Set is a solid addition to any equestrian's training equipment. These flags definitely add a vibrant dash of color to training sessions, which is a delightful touch. One of the standout features of this set is the ease with which you can extend and retract the flags. This is incredibly useful during training, especially when transitioning between exercises that require different levels of engagement from the horse. This feature alone is quite impressive and makes the set a worthy consideration for anyone who values practicality and efficiency. The brightness of the flags is truly remarkable. This is great for target training as it effectively captures a horse's attention. The visual cue these flags provide can positively impact target training sessions and noticeable progress can be made. However, there is one minor drawback to the set. The flags are slightly too lightweight to flap nicely in the wind. Although this weight might be a trade-off for the extension/retraction feature, a bit more heft would give a better visual signal for the horse, especially in windy conditions.Despite this, the 10 piece Horse Training Flag Set offers good value, particularly for those just beginning their journey in horse training. The extension/retraction mechanism and the brightness of the flags more than compensate for the flags' weight, and they can be particularly useful in target training. To summarize, this Horse Training Flag Set earns a solid four out of five stars. It promises to be a valuable addition to any training routine, and would be a recommended choice for equestrians looking for efficient and easy-to-use equipment.
