The quality of the leather is good but look very closely at the photo of the crown piece. The padding is very offset to the one side and makes the halter fall unevenly.

I couldn't afford the leather halter with the name plate so this one, at $89 looked really nice. It was a major part of my gifts to my husband. I wrapped it in the package and didn't get to see it up close. As SOON as he opened it, his face just FELL... "Is this Indian Leather dear?" were the first words out of his mouth. The leather was cheap, the padding was wrinkled and ill-fitting... I know it is going to hang in the tack room and never be used. I wanted to cry. I really trusted the name HORZ and thought it would be a nice gift (even without the name plate) but it has honestly ruined my Christmas.... if you are selling something that looks awful, be SURE to say "Not quality leather, ill -fitting padding... for someone who doesn't care what they put on their horse"... so people are warned.

Very nice halter with soft padding. It is fairly large.Fits my big AQHA and a 15. 2 HH draft cross also.

My newest horse, Tess, has not been ridden with a bridle, so this halter is all we're using! She likes the padded nose band and looks spiffy in the soft leather.

I saw this halter in my local shop but they didn't have my horse's size. Luckily I found it here not only in Cob but in black. I would say this runs small; my Morgan Horse generally fits in the middle of a cob sized item but this is on the longest hole and I wish there was one more hole so I could put a pad on the crown. However, it is nicely padded, seems like quality leather, and I have gotten lots of compliments on it. Fast shipping with Prime and well-packaged.

Cheap halter, ordered 2 and the first one broke within 2 weeks and the second broke within a few hours of wear. Would not recommend

Lovely halter, great padding and nice leather. The throat latch area was a bit too tight, though. Had to return the cob for a horse. If your horse is generally between sizes, I suggest going bigger.

This is a very high quality halter, much better than I had thought it would be. It is about 3/4 inch wide, there is padding on the nose and head, the leather is soft and shiny but rugged enough to last. It is too nice to wear in the pasture. I am going to have to buy another halter for the pasture and keep this one for shows. Only down side is the leather is not wide enough really for a name plate, but that is not an issue for me.Will definitely buy again when needed.
