This worked wonders for me, but the value for money is honestly terrible. High price for a single one, when competitors are charging half the price for a pair. I wouldn't buy this again, but it was the only adapter of its kind with Prime shipping with a flexible cable between each end, which relieves stress from weight on the connectors.TO BE CLEAR, this is only one! The seller clarified that for me after I expected two (because of the "x2" in the product title) and they refused to send another.If money is no object and you enjoy spending more than necessary, these are great products.

Good firm snap fit. In the package, the metal sleeve end was unscrewed from the main unit revealing the soldered wires area. May be intentional to show quality. When you screw that piece in place, add a tiny drop of blue thread lock to tge threads. With screw-on cable sleeves, they'll always unscrew themselves unless thread locked. If you don't know the thread lock product, don't worry: it's not a glue, but more of a firm sticky substance, once dried in place.

Sometimes with adapters like these, after you insert your 1/4" speaker cable, you then have to gingerly back it out a fraction of an inch at a time until you get a connection -- a rather unstable connection. Fortunately, that's not the case with these Hosa speaker adapters. My 1/4" speaker cables plug in all the way and give me solid, reliable connections. Hosa is not exactly known as being the Cadillac of cable manufacturers, but this is one product of theirs that seems to be as well-built as any speaker adapter could be. I took one of these completely apart and was 100% satisfied with the quality of construction.
