I have used other high end cables without any issues but I have also used the Hosa brand and never had any issues. I like that they are color coded. There is a certain order I use with the colors and it makes it easy to wire up a lot of gear and always know which channel is which that way. I have been using this brand of cables for well over 20 years and have never had to replace any of them unless I just needed different lengths.

When purchasing this snake I was on a budget but still wanted a decent quality product. I own a Hosa snake 1/4 TRS male-male, and some Hosa cables and I haven't had any issues with them in the past, so I decided to buy this product.Hosa sells one other variation of this product the: Hosa STX803MPRO which has serviceable TRS connectors (easy to repair when on a gig) with 26awg wiring, w/ numbered channels. (I think the shielding on cable is better also). Cost about $20-$30 more.So far the snake is working good, sounds great and I have not experienced any noise in my application (live sound church).Features of this cable:+ Nickel-plated plugs+ Oxygen Free Copper conductors+ OFC spiral shield+ Limited lifetime warrantyGauge of conductors is not documented, and it is not written on the cable itself…
