Triumph motorcycle heat shields have 5 of these to eliminate rattle on exhaust pipes but het tends to destroy them the small 5/16" rubber hose safety guards are a direct replacement for the expensive dealer parts. These come in two sizes so measure first before ordering.

Hugely overpriced for what they are, but they do a good job of protecting the ends of worm clamps, especially needed when hose claim has been cut and leaves a sharp edge.

These end caps, although not necessary, provide protection from the ends of your hose clamps. These are particularly useful when you trim off the excess and that sharp edge remains. I highly recommend these if you have hose clamps in tight spaces, like your engine compartment, where you run the risk of rubbing up against a clamp end.
