I have a small chinchilla. This fits him perfectly! It's very stable, not wobbly, and really easy to set up. Compared to every other small animal hammock stand I found, this is the tallest at 11.8 inches versus 9.4 on all others. I wanted height so his body can be suspended comfortably as he sleeps and not touch the floor. No others I found were like it! Now, the only thing I edited with it was the hooks for the hammock. I raised them about and inch higher than the predrilled holes to give the hammock more height in case he sleeps in the bottom level of it - so he doesn't bump the ground. It was easy to. I just pushed the hook screw harder against the wood pole and turned clockwise. It was self tapping, so no drilling on my end doing that. The wood was soft enough to do so, but don't let that fool you, it's still sturdy! Great product and great price! I'm impressed and feel it was money well spent.

I really was excited for this to come, but was disappointed. I really like the hammocks and they were super soft but they were also a bit large for the design, they hung on the floor. The wood was fine but the middle piece didn’t connect properly and looked like it wasn’t even.

This was bigger than I anticipated; but I wanted to go to a bigger cage for them anyhow. I love the material of both hammocks with both being super soft and one being fuzzier than the other. My rats love it too.
