I had to give it "One" star. The first set the actual hub on one wasn't machined correctly and you couldn't tighten the collar so they send me a replacement set. The first one I installed the threaded part of the black hex snapped putting on the nut by hand with a hex tool. It didn't even cross thread the nut, it came right out! It's been 4 days and no one from HR has responded so i bought a cheaper $18 set of no name ones here and they are flawless. HR used to be quality parts...

They look great and seem like they are very well made but there is something with the barrel nut that holds the hex on the hub. I used blue loctite on all 4 when they were new and even waited the full 24 hours for the loctite to do its thing, they still fell off I’m pretty sure I’m on my 3rd time re attatching one wheel with loctite. So be prepared for that. When they do stay on they look great and preform very well

Very easy installation on the ARRMA Big Rock 3S V3. Being new to the hobby, I thought it may require additional modifications, but it was really easy. Plenty of YouTube videos to also show installation.

I have these on my 3s Arrma Vorteks and have bashed the crap out of it with these on. They're designed well and look good, I love the o-ring that acts as a thread lock on the outer cap, but one of the nuts that go inside to secure the adapter to the axle keeps coming loose on my front left wheel. I used blue loctite a couple times (dried for 24 hours) and it still came off causing the wheel and adapter to come off at speed and roll away. Thankfully the whole assembly stays together and you only lose the pin (an extra long pin, I just cut some small hinge pins to length from my 144010 to replace it). Finally what I did to "fix" it is stuff a couple small o-rings, a small nut, then a couple more small o-rings in between the inner nut and the outer cap to not give it any room to back out and fall off... it has worked for a couple packs since then. Overall happy with them and will buy again if I manage to break one.

The thing to note with these hub adapters is that you will need to use copious amounts of loctite and a good strong tightening of the set screw that secures the hub adapter to the axle shaft.Warning!!! Let the lock take cure by at least 24 hourI upgraded my Arrma Granite to 6s and started destroying rims with the 14mm stock hub. Now I can run as hard as I want to with larger 17 mil hubs.Yes it cost more but the extra 10 mil extension also helps out when selecting 17 ml hub tires that are naturally bigger than 14 ml hub tires. The long and short of it is I recommend this product and if you buy it USE LOCTITE!!!!

Make sure you’re using the red Loctite for the hex nut that go inside the hub.Make sure the nut on the wheel is nice and tight and should be good to go… Lots of people do you say there is where in tear on the driveshaft adaptor piece that goes into the hex but I haven’t seen Any wear or tear.

These are really well made but when they say "use thread lock", they're absolutely right. I didn't because I didn't have any and I was excited to put truggy wheels on my Big Rock and after 2 minutes my rear wheel spun off and rolled about 50 yards into traffic and I lost the pin. My fault but, use loctite.

Work great, BUT, if you are bashing, use lots of lock right, the retaining nuts WILL loosen up. Other than that, they are great. Nicely made and have held up to lots of abuse.
